Ever since Summer ended and Fall started, we know you’ve been crazy hectic with school/work, family, and yes we already noticed the Christmas decor and knicknacks that are starting to pop-up instores.
DON’T PANIC!
Just take a deep breath and take one thing at a time.
To help you de-stress, here’s some BEAUTY SHORTCUTS compliments of our fave magazine, Real Simple:
- DRYING NAIL POLISH: Air dry nails for 2 minutes then dunk your hands in a bowl of ice-cold water for 3 minutes to freeze-dry, seal, and harden your pretty nail polish
- DE-PUFFING EYES: If a frozen bag of veggies isn’t that appealing to you, then soak a soft washcloth in cool chamomile tea instead. To prevent puffy eyes, use 2 pillows when you sleep to retain fluids
- REMOVING FACE PILLOW CREASES: Splash warm water on your skin and then gently massage in a moisturizer. In the future, sleep on smooth-fitting satin sheets instead of cotton since satin won’t bunch up under your skin
- CONCEALING GRAY HAIR: We’re not a big fan of concealing gray hair with mascara or other touch-up products since it just ends up ruining your clothes when you remove them. Since gray hairs are most obvious on flat hair or on ponytails, volumize it by spritzing volumizing spray onto your roots before blow-drying
- MAKEUP REMOVAL: To shave off some time for much-needed beauty sleep, try a dual-purpose makeup remover and facial cleanser like the Marie Louise Cosmetics Cleansing Clear Gel
